Job Description

We are hiring a Planning Account Manager to help shape insight-led communications for some of Haleon’s best-known consumer healthcare brands across Great Britain and Ireland. You’ll sit at the heart of the partnership, turning business objectives into clear plans that connect strategy with effective delivery. Working alongside brand, investment, digital, commerce and specialist teams, you’ll help ensure every campaign has a strong purpose and lands effectively in market. It’s an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, planning craft and trusted client partnership in a connected local and global team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day communications planning for Haleon's brands, and turn client briefs, audience insight and business objectives into focused, actionable planning responses.
• Define clear planning principles, channel roles and briefs that enable investment and specialist teams to deliver effectively.
• Build trusted relationships with Haleon Brand Managers through thoughtful advice, responsive communication and reliable delivery.
• Own planning outputs, campaign documentation and tracking tools, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Contribute to annual planning, quarterly business reviews, econometrics programmes and effectiveness initiatives.
• Apply competitor analysis, post-campaign learning and test-and-learn results to strengthen future planning and share successful approaches across brands.

Qualifications

• Experience in communications planning within a media agency or another relevant environment.
• A strong understanding of full-funnel media planning and how channels work together.
• The ability to translate data and insight into clear strategies, compelling stories and practical recommendations.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several brands, campaigns and stakeholders.

A collaborative approach to working with clients, investment teams, channel specialists and senior colleagues.

Clear and engaging communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and build alignment around strategic challenges.

Familiarity with audience, reach or channel-planning tools, such as GWI, TGI or Ad Intel, or the ability to learn relevant platforms.
