SOC 3133 (85% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £41,700, and London Business School is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 2132 (IT managers, If managing IT systems and strategy were the main focus). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
Enable data‑driven alumni engagement at a world‑leading business school
Why London Business School?
London Business School; a global and vibrant business community based in three of the world’s most dynamic cities, London, Dubai and Riyadh. It’s where extraordinary minds and diverse perspectives connect, to have a profound impact on the way the world does business and the way business impacts the world. We offer best in class hybrid learning to our students and participants, whilst creating a flexible, supportive and dynamic working environment for our people to excel in, whatever their location.
The Role
London Business School is seeking a Database Manager to play a key role in enabling effective alumni engagement and philanthropic activity through high‑quality data, systems and insight. This role sits within the Advancement team and focuses on maximising the value of our core fundraising and alumni database (currently Raiser’s Edge) to support strategic growth and engagement.
You will work closely with colleagues across Advancement to ensure our data systems are robust, well‑governed and easy to use, enabling teams to build meaningful, life‑long relationships with alumni, donors and supporters.
You will provide end‑to‑end database capability to support the Advancement department and wider School community. You will manage system configuration, data quality, reporting and user support, ensuring colleagues can confidently use data and fundraising tools to deliver their objectives.
A key part of the role is supporting and developing colleagues through training and guidance, acting as a subject‑matter expert on Raiser’s Edge and related systems, and helping shape future system enhancements as the department’s needs evolve.

Not necessarily. London Business School holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.
The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 3133 going rate of £41,700. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
