We are delighted to offer this Dietitian post within the Adult Dietetic Team at Newcastle Hospitals until 31 March 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience within a supportive and friendly team. Previous dietetic experience is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training and support will be provided.
In this role, you will manage an inpatient caseload across a range of specialties, including general medicine, cardiothoracic, gastroenterology and others, alongside regular outpatient clinics. You will provide nutritional care for patients requiring oral nutritional support, enteral feeding and specialist therapeutic diets, while developing your clinical knowledge and skills across a broad range of conditions.
You will join a dynamic and well-established team of dietitians working across a variety of specialist services, including Oncology, Intestinal Failure, Renal, Critical Care, Hepatology, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Cardiothoracic. The role offers excellent opportunities for continuing professional development, participation in audit and quality improvement activities, and involvement in student training and education. Working within a large and diverse tertiary centre, you will gain valuable experience and be supported to develop your clinical, professional and leadership skills.
