SOC 5241 (80% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £41,700, and St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 3112 (Electrical and electronics technicians, Electrical maintenance technician title and technical support duties fit this group) or SOC 5223 (Metal working production and maintenance fitters, Estates technician maintenance index entry; broad plant maintenance duties). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
We are looking for an experienced Estates Electrical Technician to join our Estates team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, reliable and effective hospital environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical technician with strong installation and maintenance experience who enjoys working in a demanding environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality technical services.
As an Estates Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of electrical installation, maintenance, testing and repair work across the hospital.
Working as part of the Estates team, you will help minimise equipment failures and disruption by undertaking effective planned preventative maintenance, diagnostics and reactive repairs. You will work across both new and existing electrical installations and provide technical support to colleagues and contractors where required.

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 5241 going rate of £41,700. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
