About the role
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their finance career who is keen to build their experience in a fast-paced, international environment and take on increasing responsibility as they develop.
The role will primarily support the Financial Advisory business in the UK, while also providing support across other geographies when required. You will work closely with colleagues across the finance function, giving you exposure to different teams, processes and systems and the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of how finance operates within an international business.
You will be joining a supportive team where you will receive training on our internal processes and systems. While previous experience with NetSuite or similar finance systems could be useful, we are more interested in your ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day Accounts Payable function for the Financial Advisory business.
- Process and manage invoices and AP transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Support payments, reconciliations and invoice query resolution.
- Work across multiple finance systems and platforms, quickly building confidence in internal processes.
- Use Excel to review, reconcile and analyse financial data.
- Collaborate with finance colleagues in London and internationally, providing cross-geography support when needed.
- Take ownership of deadlines and deliverables, helping to keep finance processes running smoothly.
- Ideally 1–2 years’ finance experience, with exposure to Accounts Payable.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables.
- A good understanding of finance and accounting principles, with the ability to hit the ground running and learn quickly.
