SOC 2440 (63% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £56,500, and Zelt is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.

This could also be SOC 2131 (IT project managers) or SOC 2431 (Management consultants and business analysts). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.

Strategic tip: apply early

Sponsored roles fill quickly, and the ones that name a salary go quickest. If this one looks right, apply in the first few days rather than saving it for the weekend.

About the role

About Zelt:

Zelt is building the first unified employee platform that brings together HR, payroll, IT, onboarding, and automation into one seamless system. We’ve been recognised by G2 as a High Performer across HR and Payroll, the only European vendor with that status, and we’re expanding fast.

Why this role:

This is a unique opportunity to join Zelt at a moment of strong market traction and customer momentum. Demand for a unified HR, IT, and Payroll platform is accelerating, and Zelt works with high-quality, forward-thinking organisations.

As an Implementation Manager, you will own the journey from contract signature to successful go-live. You will be the person making sure everyone knows what needs to happen, when it needs to happen and who is responsible for it. You will work closely with stakeholders across the customer organisation, bringing different perspectives and priorities together to create a clear path to a successful go-live.

This role combines project management, customer relationship management, data and systems work, and commercial judgement. You will need to be comfortable setting expectations, keeping projects moving and advising customers on how to get the most from Zelt.

Tasks:

  • Lead customer implementations from kick-off through to successful go-live and handover.
  • Run structured kick-off meetings and establish clear objectives, responsibilities, timelines and next steps.
  • Align stakeholders across the customer organisation around the implementation plan.
  • Manage ongoing client communication and keep stakeholders informed throughout the project.
  • Set clear expectations and hold customers accountable to agreed timelines and actions.
  • Analyse, clean and prepare customer data for implementation.
  • Configure Zelt to meet customer requirements and ensure the system is ready for go-live.
  • Recommend and implement best practices based on what has worked successfully for other Zelt customers.
  • Advise customers on how to structure their processes and use Zelt effectively, rather than simply replicating their existing ways of working.
  • Build strong relationships with customer champions and create the trust and goodwill needed for a successful implementation.
  • Identify risks, blockers and delays early and take action to keep projects moving.
  • Ensure projects are delivered successfully and handed over smoothly to the relevant post-implementation team.
  • Requirements:

    • A degree from a top-tier university, ideally in a relevant analytical, business or technical discipline.
    • Very strong Excel skills and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
    • Experience managing customer implementations, onboarding projects, complex projects or similar client-facing work.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, stakeholders and competing priorities.
    • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to communicate clearly with senior customer stakeholders.
    • Comfortable setting expectations and holding customers accountable when agreed actions or timelines are not met.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly when working with customer data.
    • Comfortable working with systems and learning new software quickly.
    • Able to navigate different stakeholder perspectives while maintaining strong customer relationships.
    • Highly organised and able to manage multiple implementations without losing sight of detail.
    • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership when there is no obvious next step.

    About sponsorship for this role

Does this job guarantee visa sponsorship?

Not necessarily. Zelt holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.

What salary is needed for this role to be eligible?

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2440 going rate of £56,500. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
