An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Street Lighting Operations Team for the post of Public Lighting Operative, based at Bankhead Roads Depot.
The post is a key position within the Street Lighting and Traffic Signs function of Operational Services.
Supporting the effective delivery of the Council’s Street Lighting service, the Public Lighting Operative (PLO2) will maintain the Council’s street lighting assets.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to undertake this challenging but highly rewarding role. The successful candidate must have a detailed knowledge of the maintenance of street lighting installations.
In addition, the post holder will be required to participate in the Winter and Summer Standby Arrangements.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
