About
Welcome to Team Cycles, where our passion for cycling fuels every revolution of the wheel. Nestled in the heart of the Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead, we're more than just a bike shop; we're a family-driven venture, pedalling through the cycle of life for a decade.
Our story began on a two-wheeled odyssey, cruising down to The Tees' Pot cafe in Middleton-in-Teesdale. Amidst the rhythm of spinning pedals and scenic landscapes, the dream of Team Cycles was born. In 2013, we unlocked the doors to our shop, breathing life into our cycling haven.
For ten years, we've been more than a pit stop for bike enthusiasts; we've been a hub for experiences. Team Cycles isn't just a shop; it's where stories unfold, where passion meets the pavement.
What sets us apart? It's not just the quality of our bikes—it's the array of services we offer. Need to test the waters? Try our Demo Bikes. Planning a cycling adventure? Opt for our Travel Case Hire. Want your bike to feel like an extension of you? Experience our expert Bike Fitting Service with Richie (bonus points if you find him on our homepage👀). And when the gears need a little TLC, our Bike Workshop has you covered.
We're proud to be the authorized dealers for renowned brands like TREK, Whyte Bikes, Wahoo, GoPro, Rapha and 100% to name a few. It's not just business; it's a commitment to providing the best in cycling, ensuring every ride is a masterpiece.
Team Cycles isn't just a shop; it's a journey—a decade-long voyage fueled by the love for bikes and a commitment to riders like you. Join us as we roll forward into the next chapter of adventure.
