Anyone can use the standard rate, and the pay is below it. If you are a new entrant or a PhD holder, you can use a lower rate, and the pay clears the new entrant rate. On the jobs board, Standard hides roles like this and the new entrant rate shows them as Possible at most. The advertised pay goes up to £50,000.

About CDS
CDS develops and supports CODAS, an ERP platform designed around the day-to-day realities of fuel distribution. For over 50 years, we have combined software expertise with practical industry knowledge.
Our customers depend on CODAS to run their businesses. We build long-term relationships, give honest advice and deliver on our commitments, while continuing to invest in our people, services and software.
The opportunity
Take ownership of a portfolio of CODAS customers, combining commercial account management with practical, day-to-day customer support.
Your priority will be making sure customers feel supported, their concerns are addressed and they get value from CODAS. You’ll understand their businesses, maintain proactive contact and become someone they can turn to for questions, advice and guidance.
You’ll help customers make better use of what they already have and recommend additional software or services where these meet a genuine need. Empathy, honesty and reliable follow-through are central to the role, supported by experienced colleagues across CDS.
What you’ll do
What you’ll bring
Strong experience in at least one of these areas:
Practical CODAS experience would be a strong advantage. You do not need experience in every area or a previous Account Manager title; product and industry training will be provided.
You’ll listen carefully, communicate clearly and put customer service at the heart of your decisions. You’ll be comfortable discussing commercials, proactive in recognising what needs attention and able to take ownership of a brief and progress it independently, involving colleagues when needed.

The range sits inside the market's middle half (£40,144–71,448), so this is typical pay for the occupation.
This pay misses the £55,200 standard floor, but clears the £38,600 new entrant rate.

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 3556 going rate of £55,200. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
