About the role
To participate in the delivery of high quality, patient focused clinical care.
To support registered healthcare professionals in the provision of a safe and caring environment
To work effectively as part of the nursing team
Assist in the induction, supervision and training of HCA's band 3 and trainee Dialysis Assistants
To uphold a duty of care and clinical governance
The post holder may be required to rotate between sites to meet service needs, including rotation between the main site and satellite units where applicable and when required to do so - this may be at short notice

- Equivalent level 3 qualification or above
- Care Certificate
- Able to use Microsoft Word to draft letters and reports
Desirable
- Experience in the haemodialysis setting
- Successfully completed the Advanced Kidney Assistant Course and has been assessed as competent
