Atlantis Health partners with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations to improve patient outcomes through behavioural science, patient support programmes, digital engagement, and data-driven services.
For more than two decades, we have helped clients address some of healthcare's most important challenges, supporting patients from diagnosis through treatment initiation, adherence, and long-term persistence.
As we continue to grow globally, we are looking for a commercially minded Business Development Executive to help identify opportunities, build relationships, and generate new business conversations across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
This is a consultative, technology-enabled business development role focused on research, targeted outbound engagement, relationship building, and creating strategic commercial opportunities.
You will use Apollo, email, LinkedIn and modern AI-enabled research tools to identify the right organisations and stakeholders, build thoughtful outbound campaigns, and turn relevant insights into meaningful commercial conversations.
You will work directly with the Director of Digital Partnerships and play an important role in helping Atlantis Health grow its presence with pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organisations worldwide.
For the right person, the role offers direct exposure to senior commercial leaders, strategic client discussions and the opportunity to help shape where Atlantis Health focuses its growth efforts. It also provides a clear pathway into senior business development, strategic partnerships and broader commercial roles.
· Research pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organisations, including companies approaching key funding, clinical, launch, partnership or organisational milestones
· Build, prioritise and maintain target account plans and prospect lists
· Identify relevant stakeholders across commercial, patient support, market access, medical affairs, digital health, innovation and procurement teams
· Monitor industry developments, conferences, partnerships, pipeline activity and organisational changes for actionable commercial signals
· Build and manage segmented outbound campaigns in Apollo
· Create concise, personalised email and LinkedIn messaging for senior healthcare and pharmaceutical stakeholders
· Use thoughtful multi-channel follow-up to build engagement without relying on high-volume, generic outreach
· Test messaging, audiences, sequences and calls to action, using performance data to improve response and meeting conversion
· Conduct initial qualification discussions and capture clear next steps
· Gather market, account and client intelligence
· Prepare concise account summaries, stakeholder maps and meeting briefing materials
· Support senior commercial colleagues in progressing qualified opportunities through the sales cycle
· Keep CRM and Apollo data accurate, complete and up to date
· Track campaign activity, engagement, qualified meetings and opportunity progression
· Produce concise commercial reports and actionable insights
· Use AI, automation and modern sales technology to improve research, personalisation and workflow efficiency while maintaining high-quality outreach
· Researching emerging biotech companies preparing for clinical or commercial milestones
· Building and refining Apollo prospecting campaigns for priority segments
· Creating personalised email and LinkedIn outreach for senior decision-makers
· Preparing an executive briefing for an upcoming prospect meeting
· Reviewing campaign performance and adjusting targeting, messaging or sequence design
· Sharing market signals and account intelligence with Atlantis Health commercial leaders
· You understand Atlantis Health's services, value proposition and priority audiences
· You can independently research, segment and prioritise target accounts
· You are confidently building and running Apollo, email and LinkedIn campaigns with minimal supervision
· You are generating relevant engagement, qualified meetings and early-stage opportunities
· You maintain excellent CRM discipline and useful account intelligence
· You are a trusted member of the commercial team and a reliable source of market and account intelligence
· You consistently generate high-quality meetings and qualified pipeline opportunities
· You have developed a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech and healthcare landscape
· You are improving the effectiveness of outbound campaigns through testing, learning and optimisation
· You are helping shape where Atlantis Health focuses its business development efforts
· Qualified meetings and early opportunities generated
· Contribution to pipeline creation and progression
· Engagement within priority accounts and stakeholder groups
· Quality of account intelligence, briefing materials and CRM data
· Continuous improvement in targeting, messaging and campaign performance
· Relevant experience in business development, sales development, recruitment, partnerships, consulting, commercial research, healthcare or another client-facing commercial role
· Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to write concise, personalised outreach
· Strong research, analytical and commercial judgement
· Excellent organisation, follow-through and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote environment
· Confidence engaging professionally with senior stakeholders
· Experience using CRM, prospecting or campaign management systems
· Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharma, biotech, healthcare technology, consulting or agency environments
· Hands-on experience with Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator; familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
· Experience building outbound campaigns and generating qualified meetings or opportunities
· Practical use of AI and automation to improve research, segmentation, personalisation and workflow efficiency
· Experience working across international markets or teams
We are interested in both what you have achieved and how you approach the work. The ideal candidate naturally researches people, companies, markets and trends; notices signals others miss; and turns those insights into relevant business conversations.
· Naturally curious and commercially astute
· Highly organised and disciplined in execution
· Persistent without being pushy
· Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable with ambiguity
· Coachable, eager to learn and willing to test new approaches
· Able to balance strategic thinking with operational discipline
· Interested in combining human judgement with AI-enabled tools and automation
· USD $60,000-$65,000 base salary, depending on experience and location
· Annual performance bonus opportunity linked to commercial contribution
· Regular salary reviews linked to performance and career progression
· Fully remote role with flexible working arrangements
· Opportunity to work with leading global pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations
· Direct mentorship from senior commercial leaders
· Exposure to strategy, patient support, digital health, behavioural science and healthcare innovation
· Ongoing professional development and selected industry conference opportunities
· International and collaborative team environment
· Potential progression into Senior Business Development Executive, Strategic Partnerships Manager or broader commercial roles
This role is designed for someone who wants to develop beyond a conventional outbound position and build a career in strategic healthcare business development.
You will gain exposure to senior decision-makers across the pharmaceutical industry, learn how strategic partnerships are built, and play a visible role in helping a growing international healthcare company expand its impact.
If you are excited by the idea of combining research, commercial thinking, modern outbound technology, relationship building and healthcare innovation, we would love to hear from you.
Please submit your CV together with a short note explaining what interests you about the role and why you believe you would be successful. Shortlisted candidates may also be invited to complete a brief video screening focused on research, outbound campaign thinking and personalised engagement.
