The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-energy Business Development Representative / Associate AE to join our London-based Travel sales team. Unlike traditional prospecting-only roles, this position is engineered as a direct bridge into full-scale account execution. You will spend 80% of your time driving outbound strategy and pipeline generation (BDR) and 20% of your time managing and closing targeted SMB accounts (AE)—giving you real full-cycle deal experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Utilize modern multichannel prospecting strategies (cold outreach, video, email, and social selling via LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to identify and qualify decision-makers across the travel ecosystem.
Full-Cycle Closing (20% Split): Manage your own pipeline of smaller targeted travel operator accounts—leading discovery calls, delivering demos, negotiating, and closing deals.Inbound Conversion & Campaign Alignment: Partner closely with Marketing to optimize lead flow, turn inbound inquiries into qualified opportunities, and support event-based campaigns.Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive research into high-growth Travel sub-sectors (DMCs, accommodations, tour operators) across the UK and EMEA.Strategic Collaboration: Work side-by-side with Enterprise Account Executives and Sales Directors to co-develop account plans for high-value strategic targets.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on B2B outbound sales, SDR, or BDR experience. Exposure to fintech, SaaS, or the travel industry is a strong plus.
- Closing Ambition: A track record of hitting activity and pipeline metrics, paired with a burning desire to step into an AE role.
- Multilingual Advantage: Professional fluency in Spanish, Italian, or French is highly preferred to support EMEA market expansion.
- Tech Stack Savvy: Familiarity with modern CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/Salesloft, or similar).
- Adaptability & Drive: High internal motivation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build rapport quickly with prospective business partners.
