About the role
We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our Change, Configuration & Release team within IT Service Delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Service Delivery, IT Operations, IT Support, Service Desk, Project Coordination or a similar environment who is looking to develop a career in IT Service Management.
Previous Change or Release Management experience is beneficial but not essential. We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams.
This role is based on a hybrid working arrangement from our Hartlepool office.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and managing Change requests throughout their lifecycle.
- Reviewing requests to ensure all required information has been provided.
- Supporting Change planning and implementation activities.
- Facilitating Change-related meetings and documenting outcomes.
- Liaising with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth delivery of Change activity.
- Monitoring upcoming Releases and helping assess readiness, dependencies and potential risks.
- Producing reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Providing guidance and support to stakeholders on Change Management processes.
This role offers the opportunity to build experience within IT Service Management while working alongside experienced professionals in Change, Release and Service Delivery. Whether you already have exposure to Change Management or are looking to take the next step in your IT career, we'll provide the support and development needed to help you succeed.
Essential
- Experience working within an IT Service Delivery Environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate tasks and priorities across multiple teams.
Desirable
- Exposure to Change Management, Release Management or IT Service Management activities.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles or Service Delivery processes.
- Experience working within a regulated or security-conscious environment.
- ITIL v4 certification.

OTHER INFORMATION
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK. Documentary evidence will be required.

- Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required.
This position requires you to either currently have national security vetting clearance at the Security Check (SC) level or higher, Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Level 3, or the ability to gain Enhanced Security Clearance in addition to the Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
