Police Now recruits and trains graduates and career changers with leadership potential to become inspirational police officers and outstanding crime fighters on our National Graduate Programme. Graduates can pursue a variety of specialisms working in Neighbourhood Policing, as a Detective or within Counter Terrorism or Economic Crime units.

Police Now aims to create systemic change. We need highly capable impactful staff to support the recruitment and development of our officers and to cultivate strong relationships with partner forces and the wider sector.

The purpose of your role

As a Content Officer, you'll work as part of the Brand, Marketing and Communications team to develop compelling content that brings our mission to life.

Your work will have a direct impact on transforming the future of policing and our communities by creating engaging content that attracts, inspires and supports exceptional and diverse graduates throughout their journey into our National Graduate Programme.

You will own Police Now's channels, create content that drives engagement and applications, and support candidate communications across the recruitment lifecycle, from attraction through to onboarding.

The role requires creativity, strong storytelling skills and a proactive mindset. You'll identify opportunities to engage different audiences, create content that resonates with prospective candidates, alumni, partners and wider stakeholders, and use data and insights to continually improve the candidate experience and content performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging written and visual content for Police Now’s marketing and brand channels, including social media, website, email, video and campaign assets.

Key Requirements:

• Experience creating content for digital marketing, communications, employer brand or recruitment campaigns.
• Excellent copywriting, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
• Experience producing content for social media, websites, email marketing and other digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of content marketing and audience engagement principles.
• Experience using content creation tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro or equivalent).
• Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools.
• Experience managing content calendars and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders and conducting interviews to develop authentic stories and case studies.
