SOC 2124 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 32% sure that is the right code. ACCELERCOMM LTD is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
This could also be SOC 3113 (Engineering technicians) or SOC 2136 (IT quality and testing professionals). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
About the role
A significant part of the role involves working with RF hardware and test equipment, developing test methods and analysing the behaviour of wireless communication systems. You'll gain practical experience of technologies such as 5G, develop software used for test and characterisation, and help investigate and solve real engineering problems.
We don't expect new graduates to arrive with experience in every area we work in. What matters most is a solid technical foundation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. The role offers exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and the opportunity to develop towards a specialist or systems-focused career path as your experience grows.
This role is based in Southampton and requires regular access to laboratory facilities and test equipment. As a result, the successful candidate should expect to spend a significant proportion of their time working on-site with the engineering team. There is flexibility for some home working where current assignments permit, but this is limited.
This description is the source posting as it read when we added it. We are not affiliated with ACCELERCOMM LTD, so check their own site for the current details.

Does this job guarantee visa sponsorship?
Not necessarily. ACCELERCOMM LTD holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.
What salary is needed for this role to be eligible?
The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2124 going rate of £52,000. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
