Anyone can use the standard rate, and the pay is below it. If you are a new entrant or a PhD holder, you can use a lower rate, and the pay clears the new entrant rate. On the jobs board, Standard hides roles like this and the new entrant rate shows them as Possible at most.

What you'll be doing
- Leading and supporting the transport team, including drivers and clerks
- Managing route planning, vehicle scheduling, and driver workloads
- Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, legal, and company standards
- Handling customer service escalations and working closely with depot teams
- Monitoring performance, identifying improvements, and driving results
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of transport colleagues
- Overseeing daily transport operations and ensuring timely, safe deliveries
- Strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach
- A clear communicator who’s confident making decisions
- Someone who’s organised, solutions-focused, and calm under pressure
- A good understanding of transport compliance and planning systems
- Someone who brings energy, ideas, and a commitment to great service
- Proven experience in transport or logistics management
As part of the team, you will enjoy plenty of benefits:
- Competitive salary of £37,616.
- Contribution to your pension scheme for the twilight years.
- Fantastic Sharesave option where colleagues can buy Dunelm shares monthly at a discounted rate to build up an investment for that rainy day.
- Cycle to work scheme to help keep colleagues fit and help with air pollution, travel costs, tax and national insurance.
- A cool 15% discount on all Dunelm products, in-store and online to help make your house a 'Home'.
