We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking IT Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Store Support Centre in Melton. This senior role is central to designing, maintaining, and optimising the core infrastructure that keeps our business running across hundreds of locations.
You'll mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, work closely with IT leadership, and take ownership of delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. If you thrive in a hands-on technical environment and enjoy shaping future-ready solutions, this could be the ideal next step.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor and support the IT infrastructure team.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across servers, networking, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure robust standards, security, and best practices are followed.
- Oversee monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems and networks. • Deliver infrastructure projects aligned with business needs.
- Manage virtualisation and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, VMware).
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Evaluate new technologies and manage vendor relationships.
- Produce clear technical documentation and ensure compliance.
