A course and experience in minor surgery is desirable.
Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care is beneficial but not essential.
Job summary:
The post-holder will commit to working regular sessions between 1st March 2027 and 31st August 2027.
In this time they will be expected to fulfil the role of a salaried GP which will include managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Clinical responsibilities:
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
Faversham Medical Group consists of 2 GP surgeries; Faversham Medical Practice and Newton Place Surgery. We also run an Urgent Treatment Centre based at Faversham Health Centre.
