This is an opportunity to put your practical engineering skills to work on varied equipment, solve mechanical problems and see jobs through from initial inspection to completed repair or installation. You’ll take pride in your workmanship and have ownership of allocated tasks, supported by an experienced engineering team. You will work closely with workshop colleagues, site teams, supervisors and customers to deliver safe, high-quality work and a reliable service.

• Dismantle, repair, overhaul and reassemble equipment to job specifications, quality plans and manufacturer standards.
• Remove and install mechanical equipment on client sites, working closely with colleagues to complete allocated jobs safely and efficiently.

Measure, inspect and test completed assemblies, checking that work meets the required standards and recording results accurately.

Identify parts, materials, tools and support requirements, keeping your supervisor informed of progress and any issues affecting delivery.

Complete clear service reports, job sheets and electronic records, contributing to risk assessments and method statements where required.

Maintain safe, organised working areas and take responsibility for the quality of your work, suggesting practical improvements where you see opportunities.
