I'm working with a fast-growing wealth firm that is launching a UK legal offering and is seeking a senior private client lawyer to lead.
The model is proven over 20 years in the US: lawyers sit within the wealth business, advising a strong existing client base.
The role
- Advising high-net-worth individuals and families, most of them US-connected, on cross-border estate planning
- Lifetime and succession planning across IHT, CGT and income tax, including trusts and family investment companies
- Wills and LPAs for UK and international clients; probate and estate administration, including foreign domicile estates
- Building the practice: acting as COLP, shaping processes and helping to recruit the team that follows
About you
- UK-qualified solicitor with 7-10+ years' private client experience
- US/UK or wider international cross-border experience (US bar admission a bonus)
- STEP qualified, or working towards it, welcome
- Enjoys the law and client work, and wants to build something new
