(Senior) Account Executive - Future Opportunities

Weekly office requirement: Mon/Tues/Thurs weekly

At GWI, we’re always looking for extraordinary people who thrive on making an impact. We think big to make an impact, we’re not afraid to ask why, and we always show respect. Those values are what got us where we are today, and they’re a big part of what we look for in our people.
While we’re not actively hiring for this role right now, we’re keen to connect with Senior Account Executives for future opportunities at GWI. If you’re interested in working with us but haven’t quite spotted the perfect role yet, we’d love you to join our proactive talent community. By submitting your application and answering a few curated questions, you’ll be among the first we reach out to when the right opportunity arises that aligns with your profile.
Who knows, it could be the start of something, well, extraordinary.

Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔

As our Account Executive you’ll:
be responsible for driving new business revenue and growth across your assigned accounts or territory, either Enterprise, Majors or mid-market accounts.

A few things you’ll be responsible for:
👉 Develop and execute an account or territory plan that builds a strong pipeline and enables you to meet and exceed your quarterly and annual sales quota.
👉 Identify, map and go high-and-wide within organizations to understand the full scope of each opportunity.
👉 Lead the entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation through to close.
👉 Establish and build credibility with prospects from the outset by developing a deep understanding of their business challenges and presenting needs-based solutions that meet their objectives.
👉 Work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive value across live opportunities and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
👉 Take ownership of your pipeline, executing outbound prospecting activity alongside inbound opportunities.
👉 Track all sales activity, manage opportunities, and accurately forecast revenue using Salesforce.
👉 Build and develop relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
👉 Stay informed on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

It’s also fun; shaking things up is what working for GWI is all about. You’ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment.

What do I need to bring with me? 🧳

You’ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you’re willing to learn. Here’s what the team will be looking for in you:
👉 Experience in SaaS or Subscription/licensing sales, especially closing business in large and complex corporate accounts.
👉 Ability to apply strategic thinking and sales skills to align technology solutions with complex, multi-stakeholder business problems.
👉 Follow MEDD(P)ICC sales methodology to qualify opportunities and progress deals through the pipeline.
👉  Experience using Salesforce to manage business (sales-cycle, pipeline,
forecasting, etc.).
👉  Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas
clearly and succinctly
👉  You are a hunter who sees the value of outbound prospecting to grow your own
sales pipeline, in addition to inbound leads
👉  Ability to reach and develop relationships with C-level executives
👉 Have experience working in a start/scale-up environment

Equally important is attitude. We want people who think big (to make an impact), ask why (to find a better way), and show respect (to everyone, at every level, all the time). Those are our values, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you.

And more!

Who we are

GWI was founded with the knowledge that understanding your audience is really important for business. When you know who you’re speaking to and why, you can create content and campaigns that stand out to the people that matter.

Through our global online survey, we gather data on the behaviour and perceptions of consumers across the world. This provides businesses with deep, actionable insights on their audience, revealed from data they trust.

It’s been going well, too. Since launching in 2009, we’ve become one of the UK’s fastest growing target audience companies. We’re not about to stop growing any time soon. As a business, we’re on a mission to re-engineer data-driven marketing, and we’re on the lookout for talented people to join us.

Diversity & Inclusion

Imagine if our data came from just one kind of person. We’d get a very nuanced view of the world. And we definitely wouldn’t have got off the ground as a business.

Although things certainly aren’t perfect, we live in a society where differences are increasingly celebrated – so we’d expect nothing else from our teams.  In fact, the GWI office is as diverse as our global data, it’s really important to us that it stays that way.  This is a place to feel at home, express yourself freely and make your mark.
