AECOMs Leeds based Streets team is looking for a Senior Engineer to lead the design and delivery of innovative active travel, public transport, traffic engineering, and urban realm projects across Leeds, West Yorkshire and beyond. You will be joining a strong team who are recognised as market leaders in the transportation sector, working across all stages of project development and delivery, from feasibility through to construction. Heres what youll do:

As a Senior Engineer youll take a leading role in the development of scheme solutions from concept through to detailed design and implementation. Youll manage technical outputs, mentor junior staff, directly engage with Clients, and take responsibility for the successful delivery of high-quality outputs.

• Riverside Path, York City Council
• Active Travel Routes: Westmorland and Furness / Cumberland Council
• Northern Gateway Active Travel and Public Concept Designs
• Wakefield Bus and Cycle Priority Corridors (north and south)
• Normanton Safer Routes to Schools

Key responsibilities and requirements:

• Support with the design and delivery of active travel, public transport, general traffic engineering and urban realm schemes.
• Prepare and review technical outputs including drawings, reports, and specifications.

• Experience in concept, preliminary, and detailed design of Active Travel, local roads and traffic engineering schemes and expertise in infrastructure for walking, cycling, bus priority, and traffic calming.
