SOC 2123 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 38% sure that is the right code. M Group Transport (Rail and Aviation) is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
This could also be SOC 2121 (Civil engineers) or SOC 2124 (Electronics engineers). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
You’ll bring leadership skills, having supported or mentored junior engineers and technicians. Strong communication and organisational abilities are vital, as you’ll coordinate tasks across projects. With a solid background in your engineering discipline, you’ll confidently lead design delivery and use design software and IT systems effectively. Experience in site surveys and inspections is a must, along with a relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Desirable:
Professional registration (IEng/CEng), familiarity with client or sector-specific standards, experience in feasibility studies and design justification, and the ability to support resource planning, technical reviews, and early risk identification will set you apart.

The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2123 going rate of £58,700. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
