We’re Hiring: Senior Employee Relations Advisor
Demipower Group
Location: North London with travel to sites across the UK
Salary: £50,000 including car allowance
Contract: Full-Time
Reporting to: Director of People
Ready to make a real impact?
Demipower Group is a fast-growing franchise business operating across the Quick Service Restaurant sector, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team.
This is more than just an ER role. You will be a trusted adviser to our managers and leaders, helping them navigate complex people challenges, build their confidence and create a positive employee experience across our sites.
If you enjoy complex casework, coaching managers, finding practical solutions and making a genuine difference, this could be the opportunity for you.
The Role
You will take ownership of a varied and interesting employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and conduct matters.
You will advise and support managers through investigations, hearings and appeals, providing practical, commercially focused and legally compliant advice.
You will coach managers to become more confident in handling people issues and play an important role in developing their understanding of employee relations.
You will also support organisational change, restructures and consultation processes, analyse ER trends and make recommendations to reduce risk and improve employee engagement.
Working closely with the Director of People, you will have the opportunity to contribute to wider HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and the development of our people policies and practices.
About You
We are looking for someone who knows employee relations inside out, but who also understands that great ER is about people, communication and finding the right solution for both employees and the business.
You will ideally have strong experience in an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role, preferably within a multi-site environment.
You will have strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and ACAS best practice, together with experience managing complex disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability cases.
You will be a confident communicator with excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management skills, alongside strong investigation and report-writing abilities.
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is preferred, and you will need the flexibility to travel to our sites across the UK.
Experience within hospitality, retail, leisure or QSR would be advantageous, as would exposure to TUPE, restructuring and organisational change.
Why Demipower?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where your advice will genuinely influence how we manage, develop and support our people.
You will work closely with senior leaders, influence managers across our operation and play an important role in shaping our people agenda as the business continues to grow.
We are looking for someone who is commercial, confident, solutions-focused and not afraid to challenge when needed.
If that sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
If you do not tick every box but believe you have the right experience and attitude, we would still encourage you to apply.
Demipower Group is committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with dignity, fairness and respect.
