About the role
Are you a highly creative, commercially aware design leader ready to protect and elevate a market-leading brand?
Collins is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer/Brand Manager to act as our ultimate brand guardian. In this role, you will lead, develop, and protect the Collins brand across all areas of the business—ensuring a consistent, professional, and market-leading visual identity across all internal and external communications, marketing campaigns, tender submissions, and project branding.
Working closely with our Marketing, Pre-Construction, and Senior Leadership Teams, you will oversee creative concepts, visual standards, and brand assets, translating business objectives into high-quality design solutions.
What You’ll Do
Brand Guardianship & Strategy:
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring all visual communications and marketing materials adhere to approved standards and guidelines.
- Lead the ongoing development and management of the Collins brand identity across all company touchpoints.
- Create and maintain brand guidelines covering typography, colour palettes, logos, imagery, templates, tone of voice, language, and corporate publications.
- Conduct regular brand audits across offices, project sites, digital platforms, and publications.
Creative Production & Collaboration:
- Partner with the Marketing Team to deliver high-quality brochures, case studies, social media assets, award submissions, and campaigns and more.
- Support the Pre-Construction Team by overseeing the visual quality and brand compliance of tender submissions, PQQs, EOIs, and interview presentations.
- Lead on the production of project site branding, including hoardings, site signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, and marketing suites.
Team Leadership & Operations:
- Provide leadership and mentoring to various members of the team and creative contributors, promoting continuous improvement.
- Manage external creative partners, including printers, signage contractors, photographers, and merchandise suppliers.
- Champion brand awareness across the business, providing guidance and training to colleagues on correct brand usage.
- Drive innovation by assisting in the implementation of AI tools, design technologies, and efficient digital workflows.
About You:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in a graphic design, creative management, brand management, or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Expertise: Deep understanding of branding, typography, print production, digital communications, language, and visual storytelling.
- Execution: Proven track record of developing corporate brand standards, managing external suppliers, and juggling multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
- Mindset: Commercially aware, detail-oriented, and highly articulate.
Desirable Extras:
- Experience within the construction, property, or built environment sectors.
- Video production, editing, and motion graphics skills.
- Experience managing creative teams or mentoring junior designers.
- Familiarity AI-assisted creative workflows.
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm (Mon - Fri)
Location: Office Based (East Croydon)
