Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Apps DBA / Exadata Administrator to support and maintain enterprise-scale Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environments. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, security, and reliability of Oracle applications and databases across multiple environments.
The successful candidate will have strong experience across Oracle EBS, Oracle Database Administration, Exadata, Linux/AIX, and cloud technologies, with the ability to support complex production environments, major infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
- Perform application and database cloning, patching, upgrades, and environment refreshes.
- Manage and support Oracle Exadata, RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, WebLogic, and Oracle HTTP Server environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise Oracle database performance, availability, and security.
- Provide Linux and AIX administration, including shell scripting and automation.
- Support database migrations and cloud transformation initiatives into OCI and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Maintain backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Investigate and resolve complex application, database, operating system, and infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 environments.
Desirable Experience
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Data Guard, WebLogic, Oracle HTTP Server, GoldenGate.
- Infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Cloud migration, platform transformation, or data centre migration projects.
- Oracle certifications.
