SOC 2139 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 42% sure that is the right code. Saragossa is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
This could also be SOC 2133 (IT business analysts, architects and systems designers) or SOC 2134 (Programmers and software development professionals). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
About the role
Get to join at the exact moment a firm decides to own its cloud platform in-house.
No inherited mess, no decisions made before you arrived. The Azure foundations that every engineer and data scientist will rely on are yours to shape: the landing zones, the identity model, the networking and the guardrails that keep it all safe. The Terraform behind it gets written your way, properly, the way you have always wanted to.
Developers will feel the difference. Self-service tools that let them deploy without waiting, CI/CD pipelines that just work and a Kubernetes setup that runs reliably are all part of the job. When engineers start shipping faster, it will be because of what you built.
A growing data and AI platform, including Databricks, means working alongside data scientists and helping them move quickly without losing control of security or cost.
In a lean team, good ideas do not disappear into a backlog. The patterns and standards you set now will still be shaping the platform years from now, and everyone will know whose work it is.
This will suit you if you are hands-on with Azure, Terraform and Kubernetes and have owned a platform rather than just contributed to one. Scripting or coding in Python, PowerShell, Bash or C# comes naturally, and security is something you think about by default.
What you have built matters far more here than the certificates on your profile.
If you have been waiting for the role where you finally get to build it your way, let's talk.

Does this job guarantee visa sponsorship?
Not necessarily. Saragossa holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.
What salary is needed for this role to be eligible?
The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2139 going rate of £52,300. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
