About the role
🌞 Senior Project Manager – Solar PV & BESS 🔋Construction

I’m partnering with a leading international renewable energy business to appoint a Senior Project Manager as it continues to expand its utility-scale renewables portfolio.
Backed by a major global infrastructure investor, the business is a fully integrated Independent Power Producer, with a long-term focus on developing, building, owning and operating renewable energy assets across multiple international markets.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at a pivotal stage in its development.
⚡ THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll take ownership of project delivery from Notice to Proceed (NTP) through to Commercial Operation Date (COD), coordinating contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead utility-scale renewable energy projects from NTP through to COD.
- Coordinate multiple contractors across solar PV, BESS and grid connection.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and delivery milestones.
- Collaborate with internal development, finance, legal and wider business teams.
- Support project finance requirements, including lender reporting.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
🎯 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects within an IPP environment.
- Strong solar PV project delivery experience, ideally with BESS.
- Experience managing multiple contractors, including grid connection interfaces.
- Understanding of project finance and lender reporting.
- Strong commercial, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally, with approximately one week per month in Romania.
Wind experience would be an advantage.
