ServiceNow Technical Architect

Overview:

UP3 is a dedicated ServiceNow Managed Service provider and Elite Partner, founded in 2016 by highly experienced Service Management and ServiceNow sales and delivery professionals. We have a wealth of experience working both as customers of ServiceNow and as specialist Consultants and have delivered solutions spanning nearly every aspect of the platform. Due to our continued growth, we are on the lookout for a ServiceNow Architect, a person who knows the platform inside out. You will be an expert and trusted advisor both internally and to our customers on technical strategy, governance, and best practices and bring not only technical expertise, but proven consultancy and professional services experience. Collaborating across all business functions, providing technical and thought leadership and mentoring our development teams is central to the role. Ensuring you stay current with the latest ServiceNow capabilities and technology and be a central point of reference on them is key.

The role

This would suite someone who enjoys being client facing, is comfortable talking and performing demonstrations to senior people and groups and likes strategic thinking and planning. They will be adept at grasping complex scenarios quickly and using their skills and expertise to create appropriate designs and solutions. Using their knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and its roadmap they will understand and articulate how it can deliver value in an enterprise environment for a customer. Utilising their technical and consultancy experience they must be capable of delivering work of the highest standard, identifying areas for improvement across the organisation where they see it. Required skills and experience:

• Experience of performing an architect role at a project level within the ServiceNow eco-system
• Designed and documented complex solutions at a detailed level
• Knowledge of configuring multiple ServiceNow applications across the platform
• Supported sales in contributing to proposals, estimations, and demonstrations
• Contributed to marketing initiatives by producing content such as blogs, vlogs, and case studies
• Possess a detailed understanding of platform architecture, features, and capabilities, including integrations
• Client-facing and confident in being able to understand and articulate technical requirements
• Coaching and mentoring
• Decision-making and prioritisation
• Excellent communication skills at all levels
• Have ServiceNow certifications of Certified System Administrator, and be a Certified Implementation Specialist in one or more areas

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Provide functional and technical skills to document and configure customer requirements
• Ensure the work and solutions delivered adheres to the relevant coding and design standards
• Devise and scope solutions to customer requirements
• Share feedback and knowledge with colleagues
• Work closely with engagement managers to deliver in an agile methodology
• Report and manage technical issues which may cause delays to the project
• Continually develop skills and knowledge
• Provide a detailed level of technical consultancy to customers on the ServiceNow eco-system

Maternity and Parental Leave

We offer an enhanced maternity and parental leave package. For maternity and adoption, we will provide you with 16 weeks full pay, followed by 23 weeks Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP).
