Welcome to Patch

At Patch, our mission is to create opportunity for people, work and communities on every UK high street. That's why we create neighbourhood workspaces where people do their best work close to home. Places where ambitious businesses grow, new ideas take shape, collaborations begin, and local communities become stronger.

We design, build and operate every Patch ourselves, combining beautifully designed coworking, private offices and meeting spaces with inspiring event venues that bring people together.

As a mission-led business and proud B Corp, we believe business can be a force for good. Our ambition is to create places where people, businesses and communities can thrive together, generating lasting opportunity and positive impact in every place we're part of.

Your Opportunity

Over the last three years, Patch in High Wycombe has turned the town's old public library into a much-loved workspace. It's home to local founders, creatives, small businesses and community builders, five minutes' walk from the station.

There's a well-established community of coworking members and private office teams, and the site is fast becoming the go-to venue in town for events, with the double-height Reading Room at its heart.

We're looking for an exceptional Site Director / General Manager to take the reins at High Wycombe and build on everything that's been achieved so far.

You'll own the commercial, operational and cultural performance of the site, leading a small, close-knit team, deepening the membership community and raising the bar on events and hospitality every day. You'll work alongside a Community Executive on site, supported by specialist colleagues across Operations, Sales, Marketing, Activation and Creative.

You'll protect and raise the member experience, strengthen local partnerships and keep building High Wycombe's reputation as the place in town to work, meet and connect.

High Wycombe is one of Patch's established, high-performing sites. How you run it will help shape how Patch operates across the wider business.

If you're excited by taking ownership of a much-loved site and driving its next chapter of growth, we'd love to hear from you.

Why Join Patch?

You'll join an ambitious team combining expertise across hospitality, operations, design, growth, marketing and community. While you'll be based in High Wycombe, you'll work closely with colleagues across the wider Patch business as we continue to grow.

As Patch grows, this role will grow with it. You'll start by leading one of our established sites, with a real say in how we operate, lead teams and look after members across future Patch sites.

Alongside meaningful career progression, you'll receive: Company stock options from day one, Private healthcare, 32 days' holiday, + an additional day to take your birthday off, £30 monthly wellbeing budget, Cycle to Work Scheme, Popular all-company annual offsite and end-of-year party, Ongoing learning and development support.

What You'll Build

You'll take a site that's working and make it better, building on three years of success so Patch High Wycombe becomes an even stronger place for ambitious businesses and local communities to work, meet and connect, and a venue where events thrive.

Lead an Exceptional Patch: You'll take overall responsibility for the ongoing commercial success of the site, owning membership growth, financial performance and day-to-day operations. You'll lead the site team and keep the conditions right for Patch High Wycombe to keep thriving.

Grow a Thriving Business: You'll drive continued membership sales, deepen local partnerships and build lasting relationships across High Wycombe's business community. From first enquiry through to long-term membership and renewal, you'll create commercial momentum that sustains and accelerates growth.

Deliver Outstanding Member Experiences: You'll uphold the high standard of hospitality the site is known for, ensuring members continue to feel genuinely welcomed, supported and connected. Working alongside your team, you'll ensure every interaction reflects the warmth, creativity and professionalism of the Patch brand.

Build an Outstanding Team: You'll develop and inspire your team, reinforcing a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll empower people to make confident decisions, grow in their roles and consistently deliver exceptional experiences.

Shape the Future of Patch: As one of Patch's established, high-performing sites, High Wycombe continues to help define the future of the business. The commercial performance, operational standards, team culture and member experience you maintain and build on here will help shape how Patch grows across future locations.

Experience

● Proven responsibility for commercial performance, with experience growing revenue and managing budgets.

● Experience leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams.

● Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to build relationships, convert opportunities and grow a thriving business.

● Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to balance commercial priorities, operations and people leadership.

●   A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and build new opportunities.
