SOC 2131 (75% match) is an eligible occupation, with a going rate of £58,200, and Fuse Energy is a licensed sponsor. That is our reading of the rules. Whether they issue a Certificate of Sponsorship is still their call.
This could also be SOC 1139 (Functional managers and directors not elsewhere classified, Programme manager role spanning multiple workstreams and business functions) or SOC 2127 (Engineering project managers and project engineers, Engineering project management focus on expansion and infrastructure). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.

About the role
We've raised over $200M from top-tier investors including Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, 20VC, Hummingbird and Collaborative Fund, alongside strategic angels including Nico Rosberg and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify and Uber.
We're building a fully integrated energy company: developing our own solar, batteries and other generation projects, building our own hardware, improving and developing grid infrastructure, trading power in real time, using AI across the business, and installing distributed energy in homes. By selling directly to consumers we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass the savings on to our customers.
We're hiring a Technical Program Manager to own the timeline behind Fuse's expansion. You'll work closely across engineering, operations, and the business functions that all have to land in the right order, and build and run a plan that's second to none.
Responsibilities
- Own the master expansion timeline end-to-end, from mapping every workstream and dependency to tracking milestones through delivery
- Build and maintain the plan of record (Gantt charts, roadmaps, critical path) that the whole business works off of
- Sit across engineering, operations, and other functions involved in expansion, reshuffling priorities and sequencing as new information comes in
- Surface risks and slippage early, and drive the tradeoff conversations needed to keep expansion on track
- Translate a fast-moving, ambiguous expansion plan into a clear, shared timeline with defined owners and dates
- Run the cadence (updates, checkpoints, escalations) that keeps every workstream accountable to the plan
- Bachelor's degree from a top university in STEM, engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Competitive salary and eligibility for equity
- Biannual bonus scheme
- Fully expensed tech to match your needs
- Private health insurance
- Breakfast and dinner allowance for office-based employees

Does this job guarantee visa sponsorship?
Not necessarily. Fuse Energy holds a sponsor licence, but sponsorship for a specific hire is always the employer's decision. Be upfront in your application that you'll require it.
What salary is needed for this role to be eligible?
The offer must clear both the general threshold and the SOC 2131 going rate of £58,200. New-entrant and shortage discounts can lower it.
