This role may not meet Skilled Worker requirements
SOC 3114 is an eligible occupation, and Leicestershire County Council is a licensed sponsor, but this role does not currently meet Skilled Worker sponsorship requirements.
This could also be SOC 3113 (Engineering technicians) or SOC 3120 (CAD, drawing and architectural technicians). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
Salary caveat: the advertised pay is under £33,400, the lowest a sponsor must pay for SOC 3114 under the new entrant rate. At the salary advertised, this role could not be sponsored.
New graduate or PhD holder? Pick one of the lower rates.
| Occupation code | New entrant 70% of going rate | STEM PhD 80% of going rate | Relevant PhD 90% of going rate | Standard rate 100% of going rate |

3114 Building and civil engineering technicians Most likely code | £33,400 Misses | £33,400 Misses | £37,500 Misses | £41,700 Misses |
3113 Engineering technicians Also possible | £33,400 Misses | £34,000 Misses | £38,300 Misses | £42,500 Misses |
3120 CAD, drawing and architectural technicians Also possible | £33,400 Misses | £33,400 Misses | £37,500 Misses | £41,700 Misses |
We use the lowest threshold across the plausible codes. Likelihood is Possible at most when the pay clears only a lower rate, or only under a less likely code. A mark is for the top of the advertised pay. How the Home Office picks the code
