Associate Measurement Surveyor

Our Measured Surveys team has a rare opportunity for a Senior Surveyor or Associate to join our growing and highly respected service, taking ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK and occasionally Europe.

This is more than a technical surveying role. It's an opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future growth of the service, developing client relationships, and building your own reputation within a business that gives talented people the autonomy, trust and support to make an impact. At Hollis, you'll be encouraged to take responsibility early, bring your ideas forward and develop your career in a way that matches your ambitions.

Working alongside some of the industry's leading experts, you'll have the opportunity to develop specialist expertise within a niche area of surveying, work on a wide variety of projects and property types, and contribute directly to the continued success of the team. Whether your ambition is to become a recognised technical specialist, grow client relationships, or help lead and develop a service line, Hollis provides the platform and support to help you get there.

You'll be based from our London office, with regular site visits and occasional opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across our wider UK and European network.

What you'll be doing

• Taking ownership of measured surveying projects from initial client enquiry through to final delivery.

• Managing all aspects of project delivery, including fee proposals, resourcing, programme management, invoicing and client communication.

• Undertaking a range of surveying activities including measured building surveys, topographical surveys and area referencing surveys.

• Capturing accurate survey data using the latest surveying technologies, including laser scanning, total stations and GPS equipment.

• Producing high-quality survey outputs, reports and drawings to meet client requirements.

What we're looking for

• MRICS qualified, or actively working towards chartership.

• Experience managing measured survey projects from instruction through to completion.

• Strong technical knowledge across measured building surveys, topographical surveys and related survey outputs.

• Experience using a variety of survey methodologies and technologies, including laser scanning, total stations and GPS.

• Proficiency with industry software including AutoCAD, LSS and Revit.

• Commercial awareness with the ability to manage client relationships and identify business development opportunities.

• A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership of your work and contribute ideas.

• A genuine enthusiasm for professional development, continuous learning and career progression.

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Our preference is to recruit directly wherever possible. Should this role be approved for support from external recruitment partners, we will contact our PSL agencies accordingly.

Please note that we do not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies. Effective introduction of a candidate will only be accepted if it has been requested to submit CV’s in relation to a specific vacancy. Any speculative submissions will not incur a fee. For any queries, kindly reach out to the appropriate Talent Acquisition team member.
