Discover is growing, and we are looking for an ambitious Associate Recruitment Consultant to join our specialist Quality, Manufacturing & Engineering team, focusing on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). This is an opportunity to build your own recruitment desk within a highly specialised, technically driven industry, partnering with leading pharmaceutical companies, biotech organisations and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations (CDMOs).We are looking for someone with a commercial mindset, a proactive approach and the ambition to develop into a successful 360 recruitment consultant, taking ownership of both client relationships and candidate networks.
The Opportunity
You will develop a specialist recruitment desk across Technical Operations (TechOps)/Manufacturing, supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations with the talent they need to develop, scale and manufacture life-changing medicines. Working alongside experienced consultants and industry specialists, you’ll learn how to identify new business opportunities, build lasting relationships with senior industry professionals and deliver recruitment solutions across a technically complex and rewarding market. This is a full 360 role, giving you responsibility for the entire recruitment lifecycle, from winning new business through to candidate delivery, negotiation and successful placement.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and engage new clients across the DACH pharmaceutical, biotech and CDMO markets, developing relationships and generating new recruitment opportunities

- Technical Operations (TechOps)
- Manufacturing and Production
- Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT)
- Site and Plant Leadership
- CMC Operations / CMC Development
- Biologics, sterile manufacturing and advanced therapies
- CDMO operations and manufacturing expansion projects
