About the role
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our engineering team in Feltham on a high-profile corporate site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical engineering systems, mechanical plant, equipment, and building critical components to ensure their safe operation, serviceability, and compliance with statutory regulations, policies, and procedures.
Candidate Profile
We're looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, helpful, and has a sense of pride in their work. You will be confident supporting both reactive and planned maintenance activities, have a proven track record of fault finding across building services plant and equipment, and be capable of delivering a high level of service within a busy site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the operation and control of engineering planned maintenance schemes.
- Undertake essential repair works and general maintenance activities as requested.
- Actively participate in the operation, control and repair of the Building Management and lighting control systems.
- Liaise with the management team regarding services, plant and equipment failures.
- Undertake fault-finding on all Building Services, critical systems and equipment, using cause effect analysis and detailed examination to gain a solution.
- Carry out emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
- Manage water systems to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Become the onsite Low Voltage Appointed Person supporting the company AE where required on site.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- City & Guilds BS7671 Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
- City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- Knowledge of LV Switching and UPS systems.
- Considerable maintenance experience in an electrical role.
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
