About the Role

Reporting into Platform Operations but embedded within the finance team, this role supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance and configuration of financial systems at Travel Counsellors, with dedicated experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). You’ll help ensure finance users are supported and systems run smoothly, and that system changes are managed in a controlled way, working closely with senior colleagues, technical support teams, and external partners.

Principal Accountabilities

· Support the availability, maintenance and configuration of financial systems, including D365 F&O, as part of day-to-day BAU operations. You will also have responsibility of SAP Concur and other financial systems.

· Add, amend, and troubleshoot configuration across the finance systems, escalating complex issues to third-party or 2nd line support

· Provide 1st line operational support to finance system users in collaboration with the technical helpdesk

· Support change management activities, ensuring system changes, releases and process updates are properly assessed, communicated and documented

· Act as a key point of contact for the incident team in collaboration with the technical support desk in the event of unplanned outages and P1/P2 issues

· Help implement and maintain finance processes within the finance systems

· Support the release process, including regression testing, under guidance from senior colleagues and in collaboration with technology and supplier partners

· Contribute to improvement initiatives by gathering feedback, planning enhancements, and supporting implementation in collaboration with internal and external partners

· Represent the finance systems team in internal meetings and communications, and act as a point of contact for D365 F&O queries

Required Experience

Finance/Accountancy qualification preferred but not essential. Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
