SOC 3552 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 42% sure that is the right code. Tripadvisor is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
Worth checking: this could also be SOC 7113 (Telephone salespersons), which is not on the eligible-occupation list. Ask Tripadvisor what the duties actually are.
About the role
About Tripadvisor
The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing, and aims to be the world’s most trusted source for travel and experiences. We leverage our brands, technology, and capabilities to connect our global audience with partners through rich content, travel guidance, and two-sided marketplaces for experiences, accommodations, restaurants, and other travel categories. The subsidiaries of Tripadvisor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIP), include a portfolio of travel brands and businesses, including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork.
Company: Bókun, A Tripadvisor Company
Location: UK (Hybrid - Commutable to Oxford or London)
Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term (Performance-based extension and growth path)
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Quarterly Sales Incentive Plan
About Bókun
Bókun is the leading reservation system and marketing platform for the global tours and activities industry. Founded in Iceland and now a fast-growing subsidiary of Tripadvisor Inc., we offer the best of both worlds: the high-energy pace and innovation of a startup with the stable backing of the world’s largest travel guidance platform.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Associate to join our team. This is not a typical cold-calling role; it is a consultative position designed for those who want to master the art of SaaS sales by working with a high percentage of warm and qualified leads.
While this role begins as a 6-month fixed-term contract, we view it as the perfect foot in the door opportunity. For a high-performer, this is a proving ground to demonstrate your ability to grow and potentially take advantage of future openings and long-term career paths within Bókun and the wider Tripadvisor ecosystem.
