SOC 2234 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 40% sure that is the right code. BUCKINGHAMSHIRE HEALTHCARE LTD is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
We pick the code from the advert's text, so it is our best guess, not the employer's. Each code it could be has its own likelihood:
New graduate or PhD holder? Pick one of the lower rates.
| Occupation code | New entrant 70% of going rate | STEM PhD 80% of going rate | Relevant PhD 90% of going rate | Standard rate 100% of going rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
2234 Registered nurse practitioners Most likely code | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears |
2259 Other health professionals not elsewhere classified Also possible | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears |
2237 Other registered nursing professionals Also possible | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears | £25,000 Clears |
We use the lowest threshold across the plausible codes. Likelihood is Possible at most when the pay clears only a lower rate, or only under a less likely code. A mark is for the top of the advertised pay. How the Home Office picks the code
This is a dynamic Band 7 role combining advanced clinical expertise with delegated operational and professional leadership across the Transfer of Care Hub (TOCH) and Single Point of Access (SPOA). The Senior Clinical Practitioner will practise autonomously within their professional scope, applying specialist knowledge and accountable judgement to support safe, timely and person-centred care and discharge pathways across acute, community and out-of-area settings.
Working across TOCH and SPOA, the post holder will provide visible clinical leadership and coordinate multidisciplinary triage of Pathway 0, 1, 2 and 3 referrals. They will undertake advanced assessment, interpret complex information, advise on appropriate pathways, lead complex case discussions and support safe transitions that maximise independence and reduce avoidable delays or readmissions.
The post holder will undertake delegated line management, including supervision, appraisal, staff development, wellbeing, attendance and performance management. Working closely with the Operational Manager and multidisciplinary partners, they will coordinate day-to-day service delivery, support quality and performance standards, and ensure timely escalation of clinical risks, barriers, delays and capacity concerns.
