About the role
A leading UK professional services membership organisation and regulatory body has created a new Senior Communications Manager role to help raise their profile and professionalise the function. Hybrid working is two days a week in office - central London.
The Opportunity
Leading the organisation's external, regulatory and membership communications strategy and delivery. Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team and key stakeholders across the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and enhancing the organisation's reputation, profile and engagement with members, industry audiences and external stakeholders. A person with ability to understand highly technical content and devise compelling content for different audiences.
The role will oversee a broad communications remit, including content creation, member communications, digital channels, media relations, stakeholder engagement and events. It will also play a key role in supporting marketing activity across industry events, professional education programmes and membership initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced communications professional looking to take ownership of a high-profile function within a respected membership and regulatory environment.

About You
We are looking for an experienced communications professional who combines strategic thinking with excellent content creation and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong writer ideally from professional service, technical membership body, financial services, etc. with track record in helping an organisation build up its profile as expert media commentator.
You will work closely with senior decision-makers, influence organisational reputation and engagement, and play a central role in ensuring members, stakeholders and employees understand and value the organisation's impact and contribution to the profession.
