SOC 2432 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 41% sure that is the right code. RIGHTCARD PAYMENT SERVICES LIMITED is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
This could also be SOC 3554 (Advertising and marketing associate professionals) or SOC 3556 (Sales accounts and business development managers). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.
About the role
LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.
Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.
What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.
With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.
About the role
As the Senior Growth Manager for the UK-Kenya corridor, you'll drive LemFi's expansion across East African communities in one of our most critical markets. This is a growth role that requires you to be equally comfortable traveling to key diaspora hubs to build physical community presence and managing high-leverage organic growth. You will own direct influencer negotiations, manage external agencies, partners and key community leaders, and execute grassroots field marketing. You'll spend 3 to 5 days every few weeks in a new UK city, representing LemFi at East African community events, building partnerships, rigorously tracking campaign performance and accelerating user acquisition. You're embedded in the communities we serve, acting as both a strategic thinker and a ground-level operator. You will work across paid channels, organic strategy, local agency partners, and product teams to drive massive user acquisition in this market, while serving as the internal voice of the user.
What you'll build and own
Map, infiltrate, and build genuine presence inside East African diaspora associations, WhatsApp groups, and community networks across the UK, seeding LemFi authentically and tracking what drives real sign-ups.
Travel across the UK 3 to 5 days every few weeks, establishing on-the-ground presence in new cities. Lead community-driven initiatives to build trust, awareness and advocacy for LemFi. Organize and participate in local events, meetups and forums. Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and grassroots partners implementing tracking mechanisms to measure the exact customer acquisition cost of your offline activities.
Develop and execute comprehensive user acquisition strategies tailored to East African communities in the UK. Own growth targets for assigned markets and optimize campaigns using data and insights.
Source, negotiate directly with, and manage partnerships to accelerate user growth. Ensure partnerships deliver mutual value and measurable outcomes tied directly to user acquisition.
Conduct ongoing market research to understand user needs, behaviours and preferences. Provide actionable insights to Product and Marketing teams. Serve as the internal voice of the user, representing community perspectives in decision-making.
Own the full campaign lifecycle from concept to close: brief, execute, measure cost per acquisition and conversion to first-time transacting users, and iterate fast.
Identify new community touchpoints and partnership opportunities across the East African diaspora (Kenya, Rwanda, and broader East Africa) and bring them live quickly.
Use AI tools to accelerate your own output - drafting campaign copy, analysing performance data, and building outreach at scale - while applying your own judgement to validate every insight before acting on it.
Your experience
At least 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments with a background in growth, sales, marketing or similar.
Deep understanding of the East African community in the UK. You're culturally fluent and comfortable immersing yourself in new cultural environments.
Proven ability to work against targets and deliver measurable results. You're motivated by ambitious goals and comfortable being measured against clear KPIs.
Strong data-driven mindset. You interpret data, track performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders. You're a persuasive communicator who can influence partners and leaders.
Entrepreneurial and tenacious. You take ownership, push through obstacles and find ways to win. Biased to action, you think critically and move quickly.
Self-motivated and effective working independently and in remote environments. You're willing to travel extensively and work occasional weekends to support market growth
Nice to have
Prior experience launching or scaling ventures in new markets.
You have run growth, community, or field marketing campaigns that drove measurable acquisition.
Background in fintech, payments or diaspora-focused products.
Existing relationships within East African diaspora networks or associations in the UK.
