SOC 2237 is an eligible occupation, but we are only 53% sure that is the right code. The London Clinic is a licensed sponsor, so if the code fits, the role should qualify. Check the occupation eligibility rules against what the job actually involves.
This could also be SOC 2233 (Registered specialist nurses) or SOC 2234 (Registered nurse practitioners). We read the code off the advert, so it is our best guess, not the employer's.

Job Title: Staff Nurse - Band 5
Department: Urology, Nephrology and Neurosciences
Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW
Salary: £40,491 - £51,113
Hours: 37.5 Monday to Sunday - on rotation to cover days, nights and weekend
Contract: Permanent
We have an opportunity for an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Urology, Nephrology and Neurosciences team at The London Clinic. You will care for patients with a variety of specialist needs, build your clinical knowledge and work alongside colleagues who share your commitment to safe, compassionate nursing.
A little about the role
Our department brings together three specialties, offering a varied nursing role caring for patients undergoing investigations, receiving medical treatment or recovering from surgery.
Urology focuses on conditions affecting the urinary system, including the kidneys, bladder and prostate. Nephrology involves caring for people with kidney conditions, while neurosciences cover conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord and nervous system.
Patients may need support with pain, mobility, personal care or changes to their independence. Others may feel anxious about a diagnosis, procedure or what their recovery will involve. Taking time to listen, explain and provide reassurance will be an important part of your role.
Working with the Ward Manager, senior nurses, consultants and wider clinical team, you will assess patients' needs, deliver individualised care and monitor their progress. You will help patients prepare for treatment, support them throughout their stay and contribute to a safe discharge.
This is an opportunity to broaden your experience across specialist medical and surgical nursing while building positive relationships with patients and their families.
What you'll be doing
What we are looking for:
You will be a compassionate and organised registered nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in providing attentive, personal care.
What you'll be part of
You will join a specialist ward team caring for people whose conditions and treatment can affect their comfort, confidence and independence. Your nursing skills will matter, alongside your ability to notice the small things, offer reassurance and help patients feel understood.
Working across these specialties will give you the opportunity to strengthen your assessment skills, develop your knowledge of specialist care and learn from experienced nurses and the wider clinical team.
