About the role
Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
Shifts: Days only
Hours: Part‑time - 16 hours Days per week (permanent) 4 shifts (10am to 2pm)
Person Specification
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience supporting individuals with learning difficulties
- Experience working with Mental Health conditions, Complex Care, and Challenging Behaviours
- A Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and flexibility
- A caring, compassionate, and positive approach to support
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour and conflict
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, including those with complex needs, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes
- Support with daily tasks such as medication administration, cooking, cleaning, and completing paperwork
- Offer both emotional and practical support
- Help individuals access community facilities and participate in community activities
- Build trusting relationships that promote independence and improve quality of life
- Empower individuals to develop new skills and explore hobbies and interests
