About the role
Our client, an education provider based in Birmingham, are currently recruiting for an ER Advisor to join on a temporary contract for three months with the possibility of going permanent. The rate is circa £22 per hour via an Umbrella company and will be based 5 days on-site in South Birmingham.
The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting with employee relations casework, will need an enhanced DBS check and ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified.
Duties will include:
- Managing a varied employee relations caseload from initial query through to resolution, identifying and escalating complex or high-risk cases where appropriate
- Building effective working relationships with managers and employees across the organisation and advising and coaching on disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability matters
- Supporting short and long-term absence cases and advising on appropriate next steps
- Ensuring casework is handled fairly, consistently and in line with policy and employment legislation
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, correspondence and supporting documentation
Working hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
