About the role
Sales Specialist – Buyside | New York
A growing global financial data and research business is hiring a Sales Specialist to develop new buyside relationships in the US.
The firm provides economic data, market intelligence, research and fund flow analytics to institutional clients worldwide. Its expanding buyside business offers an opportunity for an ambitious salesperson to build on their experience with support from an established commercial team.
The role:
• Identify and win new clients across asset managers, hedge funds and other institutional investors.
• Build relationships with investment and research teams, understanding their data requirements and workflows.
• Own opportunities through the full sales cycle.
• Partner with researchers, economists, solution architects and SDRs to deliver a consultative sales process.
Your background:
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in financial data, investment research or analytics sales.
• Experience selling to buyside institutions and generating new business.
• Familiarity with economic data, fund flow analytics or related investment intelligence.
• A consultative approach and the ambition to grow into a broader commercial role.
The business offers uncapped commission, exposure to senior leadership and the resources of an established global research and data provider.
